Just wanted to make a little something with a poem that has been flying around in my head for some time now... The stairs on the pic btw leads up to a very red door.. that's my frontdoor! ;]
---
"Yesterday upon the stair I met a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. I wish that man would go away".
I wonder if it was a ghostly figure Hughes Mearns was referring to when writing this haunting poem? Anyways, it made me think of the very place I live! Now, I'm generally very sceptic regarding to spiritualism and after death issues, but back in 2002, when I moved to this place, I was told that the previous owner had died and layed dead for some days in the very same room I'm sitting writing this now... eeee!!
Hehe! But no worries, nothing has ever been flying around or materialized itself here while it has been my domicile..
Thanx to Forsaken-Brushes for her nice brush thingie!
But I just watched the movie "Identity", the quote is used often in it.
Have you ever seen that movie?
Nice picure btw.
This was very much inspired by it.. without having any comparison to the use of the poem in the movie though...
Thanx Matt, I'm glad you like it!
